Do I still need my everyday shampoo?

If you swim a few times a week, our shampoo can be the everyday one. It is built to lift out chlorine and the film hard water leaves, and it washes hair the rest of the time like any good shampoo would.

Why does light hair turn green?

Copper in pool water, not the chlorine itself. It binds to hair the way it stains a kettle. A swim shampoo used soon after the water keeps the deposits from settling in; once hair is already green, a few washes work it back out.

Is the kids line actually different?

Yes: tear free formulas, a two in one suds so a cold six year old stands under the shower once, and a spray detangler for after the swim cap. The chemistry against chlorine is the same idea, dialled gentler.
